We have combined our two most popular workshops into one 3 hour class. This allows you to sample both techniques as well as learn twice as much.

The first half of the workshop will be focusing on machine appliqué.

You will learn how to:

-          Transfer your image onto fabric

-          Choose the right stitch and size for the project

-          Experiment with letters and motifs

You will then move onto Freehand Machine Embroidery after a tea break!!

You will be shown how to set up your machine for this technique by lowering the feed dogs and changing the tension.

You will then practice some common stitches used for this technique and learn when to use them.

Once you are confident you will then create your own picture using calico and a selection of fabric, felt and metallic threads.

All materials, tea, coffee and cake are all included.
