The art of sewing and all things crafty came from my Nanna. From a very young age she taught me, knitting, crochet, patchwork, dressmaking and many more exciting crafts we explored together.
I loved all things art and textile related at school which lead me to University, where I achieved a Textile Design degree.
Turning a hobby into a business has been a dream come true, but hard work along the way. I am so grateful for all the support from my family and loyal customers. It has been a fantastic journey since we opened back in August 2013 and I hope it will continue for many more years to come, even now without the shop premises and family commitments.
Hope to see you soon.

Had my hen do here - was fantastic fun decorating knickers! Afternoon tea was delicious too and Caroline was so helpful throughout the party. Would recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different for their hen party:-) Sarah Ward – Hen Party.
Lucy loved having her 8th birthday party here, decorating handy bags with fabric paint and buttons! Today I just popped in for a cuppa. Lovely place! Tara Stagman – kids Party.
Would like to thank Caroline and her Mum Sue for giving us such a good afternoon helping to get our wedding quilt together yesterday afternoon. And THANK YOU for putting this all together at such short notice so my daughter could have her hen sewing party. Wishing you all the best with your sewing café. Adding a Big Like from me. Kindest regards Alison Clarke – Hen Party.
My daughter, Sasha, recently enjoyed a fantastic birthday party at the Needlepoint Sewing Café in Harrogate. It’s a fantastic place – a real hidden gem. Caroline offers a huge variety of activities, it was hard to choose. Best egg sandwiches in town, too! Nicola Wilson - kids party.
Had a freehand machine embroidery workshop with Caroline today. Cannot recommend it enough. Had a wonderful afternoon and really really enjoyed the experience. Thankyou I will be back!! Xxx Angie Foster - workshop.
Thank you for teaching Charlotte to make a cushion today. She loved it. Carmel Bell - childrens sewing club.
Caroline recently came into school, where I teach year 3 children, and carried out a sewing workshop. The children all made a notebook cover with sewn on detail. The afternoon was lovely and Caroline was brilliant with all the children. The instructions were clear and all the children were able to produce a notebook cover, including those with Special Educational.
